This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the game opens, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.

Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun! Feel free to consult the institute tour and dorm guide for setting info. I don't really remember what they looked like but I know it wasn't that.

[he shakes his head and laughs louder]

They totally were.

Were not! If I had pictures to prove otherwise I would show you but I know for a fucking fact they weren't reindeer antlers!

Only because they didn't finish growing! Babies can't lift their head and full reindeer antlers.

They weren't antlers! And they weren't going to become antlers!

[he wants to say that she doesn't know that, but there must be a reason why she used to have horns and now she doesn't, so he doesn't push that anymore]

I don't remember okay. [They were cut off by anti-mutant assholes. But since he's not outright asking she's not saying.]

They probably would have been awesome, but maybe it's better you don't have them, makes you less of a target. [there's a sad note to that]

[There's a bit of a glare directed at him.] Probably.

[he tries give her a reassuring smile, and if that doesn't work he recalls all the times Arthur has hit him for saying something dumb or at the wrong time]
