This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the game opens, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.

Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun! Feel free to consult the institute tour and dorm guide for setting info. You lived closer to Germany than I did. But whatever, there's a word for it and c'mon, who doesn't enjoy others suffering?

Oh come on! I don't necessarily mean suffering like being kicked to death or some shit. I mean little things, like people missing the elevator or something.

[Pictures missing the elevator, Arthur would blame him for that and probably get annoyed with him.]

[Pictures someone else missing the elevator, he feels bad because what if they're in a hurry]

[Vriska stares at him as if his thoughts cause her physical pain.]

[For a few moments she just can't find any words to describe just how horrible he is.]

[Because he's too nice. It's just not normal!

She grabs him by his shoulders and gives him a shake.]

How are you so nice! It's disturbing!

There's no point in being mean and giving others more of a reason to hate me. I find that being nice disarms a lot of people. [he shrugs] Sometimes being nice can help when you're in a fight, they don't remember that I could potentially blow them up.

[he glances at her wrist again, bringing up the earlier memory of speeding up her molecules there]

Besides, I tend to make friends with jerks and I end up apologizing for everything they do.

[there was Will in Ealdor (who wasn't really a jerk but could be a trouble maker), and Arthur in Camelot, and now Vriska. he sure knows how to pick them.]

[She loosens her grip on him and slumps so that her head is against his shoulder. She laughs a little because what else can she do. He's a lot more devious than she original thought, that's for sure.]

Because even if they're jerks I know that they're good people and eventually everyone else will see that too.
