This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the game opens, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.

Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun! Feel free to consult the institute tour and dorm guide for setting info. We also encourage you to check out the "!!event" tag on the IC comms to brush up on the story so far.

[Natsu's sentence ends abruptly as his cheeks bulge, his eyes widen, and he looks moments from being sick all over the courtyard. He doesn't vomit, but with all the colorful retching sounds he was making, one might have thought otherwise.]

Is a plane, you know? Up in the sky. Could fall out at any minute.

N-never. I'll walk or swim before I'd ever get on a plane. [He tries to stand, making a considerable effort to walk it off, only to stumble backward and then settle into a sitting position.]

A plane would probably kill me...

Ah, but hey! You lived! That makes you stronger than you were before, right?

[firedragonslayer]

Oh! That's an interesting way to look at it! [His stomach protests loudly, only to be met with a long, strained groan.] ...I think the getting stronger part happens later though.

I think you've earned some rest. Need help getting to the dormitory?

[firedragonslayer]

Heh, that would be great. [He looks up, grinning sheepishly at the young man before him.] The ground becomes a lot less comfortable when you feel like crap.
