This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the game opens, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.
Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun! Feel free to consult the institute tour and dorm guide for setting info.

To be honest, I'm not fond of the idea, but it's hard to plan for a worst case scenario when so many people are clamoring for some sort of solution. Registration might not be it. Especially with a lack of mutant representation in government. But no one seems to be presenting other solutions.

I see. Thank y9u f9r y9ur input in this discussi9n. It's quite a seri9us endev9ur that they are d9ing and 9ne that can and m9st likely will negatively effect us all, and thusly sh9uld and must 6e the f9refr9nt 9f 9ur attenti9n. The cis-humans (very important, as calling them human d9es have the effect 9f dehumanizing mutants and meta's, as if they are less 9f a pers9n) d9 have a right t9 feel safe, 6ut n9t at the disc9mf9rt 9f every9ne else.
N9t t9 menti9n the impact this might have 9n metahumans. M9st cis-humans w9uld n9t 6e a6le t9 tell the difference right away due to the wide sc9pe 9f p9ssi6le mutati9ns and it c9uld lead t9 unf9runate triggering t9 9nes that d9 n9t want t9 6e lumped in with us. Why a wh9le new schism c9uld appear 9f Meta's vs. Mutants vs. Cis-humans. Which w9uld m9st likely end in pr96lematic and futile 6l99dshed, and take away fr9m the m9re imp9rtant issues and s9cietal pr96lems at hand.
6ut that is an unf9rtunate digressi9n, which I d9 ap9ligize f9r. Pe9ple in g9vernment l99king 9ut f9r all parties intrestes, w9uld indeed 6e the 6est way t9 ensure a 6etter law.

Still, when you think about how other national governments have been handling these matters, America is at least doing something, even if it doesn't seem like a very good idea. It will need work, though. And hopefully that's just what it will get once the act is introduced into congress.
