This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the game opens, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.

Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun! Feel free to consult the institute tour and dorm guide for setting info.

[Ayaka had been about to stomp on the aforementioned spider... up until that weird bug girl suddenly dived in the way]

Ugh...

[Well, if she couldn't stomp on the spider, she might as well plant her foot on one of those bugs she could see scurrying about on the disgusting (in her opinion, anyway) blonde]

Hey— What are you doing?!

[She does an admirable job of grabbing hold of Ayaka's foot, the visible spiders promptly scurrying out of the way, under the collar and cuffs of her shirt or into her hair. At the moment, at least, Yamame is more surprised than angry or upset.]

Those are— Leave them alone!

[She normally didn't do favors for anybody, but since she her foot had already been in position, well...]

[But now that the spider girl was holding onto her foot, she pulled back and attempted to extract it from the blonde's grasp]

[Yamame lets her go. She lets her go so hard she shoves her back as she does so, quickly straightening up again. She isn't very tall at all, and she's obviously angry.]

If you want to do me a favor, go catch me a few grasshoppers and treat my friends to lunch for what you just tried to do.

[Ayaka stumbled back a bit, almost falling over but managing to catch her balance]

Your friends? You should do yourself a favor and visit pest control, then maybe you could find some real friends!

[She glares like she's trying to burn a hole through Ayaka. Which, actually, is not inaccurate. She just does her burning with fevers instead of a fire. If she's going to say things like that, then she really will make her sick...!]

Ack, maybe I should change her mutant power so she's affected by things like that @_@;

[Whether she's affected or not by Yamame's power, it's hard to tell at the moment. Unfortunately, Ayaka's mutation is an advanced healing factor which is already working to combat the effect...]

Oh, yeah? You don't even sound like you even know what it's like to love an animal as a pet. Have you ever had an entire town call you a witch and make you an outcast? I doubt it, since if you had you would know that animals are the most loyal friends you can find!

[ooc: It's probably a lot like getting sick normally... They'll start feeling a little bad right away, but then the feeling just keeps snowballing as time progresses. The illness probably worsens faster than normal, though.]

Of course I had a pet! A cat is a superior pet to bugs, of all things. [Though she wasn't the one that had to take care of feeding it and changing its litter box]

It doesn't surprise me that somebody as disgusting as you would be an outcast. [You were practically an outcast of society, Ayaka, considering you were yakuza.]

You're the disgusting one if you think someone deserves that just because of their powers. I hope someone took your cat and trampled it until it died!
