This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before applying, and to see if things "click". Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.

Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. [Action/Main Lobby-Hallways]

*Well. Chika didn't really want to admit it, but she was completely lost. No idea where she was in the school at all. Well, that's not true, she was pretty sure that she had been here before.

She just didn't know where 'here' actually led to. And connected to. And you know, where her room or where she was supposed to be taking classes are. So, it was time to really ask the next person she saw where to go.

So, congrats whoever you are. You have a little girl coming over to you looking a bit shy and confused.*

Umm... do you know where the classrooms for the younger kids are? I'm kinda lost.

[Action/Danger Room]

Yes, your eyes are not deceiving you. There's an eleven year old in the Danger Room. Thankfully, there's nothing in the Danger Room that's on, but it's still not something you'd think would be happening all that often.

Still, the reason why there is a young girl in the Danger Room should become immediately apparent once she holds her hands close together and a small green ball of fire sparks to life in her hands, just hovering around between those tiny hands for a moment... before exploding outwards away from her in a brilliant display of emerald explodiness that actually sent Chika flying backwards a bit, knocking her to the ground.

She sighed, slowly getting up to her feet as the sprinklers activated, as the fire smothered out with nothing to catch on fire.*

... Why does it always go out of control like that?

Don't talk like this wasn't your fault, sneaking around like that.

[She gives a small sigh and nods.]

I can manipulate th' energy that makes up m'arms into pretty much any shape I wan'. [Although she has yet to figure out how practically apply that beyond cutting things.]

I can kill wi' jus' a touch. I sometimes end up killin' electric stuff, m'draining the electricity or somethin'. Sometimes I can turn invisible, but it ne'er last long. An' sometimes I can phase t'rough stuff.

That's all I know how t'do. Though wouldn' say I really know how t'do the last two things.

]Robin was walking towards the library when she spots the lady.]

I assume you are new to this school?

Chika smiled, grabbing the ball but not going back to the other kids just yet. "Yeah. My brother's really really really strong, so if he was playing I wouldn't be surprised if it actually did."

Chika waited for another moment, before deciding that it was probably okay to ask this question. "Umm, you're a teacher here, right?"

"Is he now? Well, I'm glad that he didn't throw the ball."

A slight wind blew one of her strands of hair over her eye, and she gently moved it back. "I am. I actually just started teaching here a few days ago."

Oh! That definitely explained why Chika didn't recognize her. "I see! What class do you teach? I mean, that's how it works here, right? One teacher just teaches one thing instead of all the stuff we need to learn?"

[The girl Chika walked up to turn towards her. She was around her age, and wearing a pink frilly dress. What stood out though was the large floppy bunny ears on her head.]

What a coincidence, I am heading over there right now. I can take you if you want.

[ Feisty. Her look shows disapproval, but that isn't the case. ] Yet I was in plain sight before.

*Chika's eyes just lit up at that. She knew there were other kids around her age here, but this was the first one she came across.*

Yeah! That'd be awesome!

I'm Chika! What's your name?

[ Without turning or even acknowledging her at first, Yukari continues to scan the sides of the buildings with some fascination. ] It is larger than I expected.

"I am the history teacher," She says with a smile. "And you are correct. It lets you learn from teachers who know a lot about one subject, but maybe not much of another."

[Robin just smiles and nods]

Considering this used to just be his family's mansion, one must wonder what they did with all that space before turning it into a school.

My name is Tei Inaba.

[ Yukari appears to be giving this some serious thought. ] That might depend on the size of his family. I hope they haven't all been displaced.

"Kinda sounds a bit weird," Chika admitted. "My old school just had us have one teacher who taught us everything. Though Mama did tell me that I was only going to have a year left before I started having a lot of teachers..."

So, umm... where's the class?

[And she starts to skip down the hallway. Unknowingly to Chika, she is purposefully taking the long way. She doesn't care being late]

His family was quite small. By the time he opened the school, he was living in it all alone.

Affirmative.

[He stands up and walks toward the front of the class. He was too small to give his speech from his desk unless he stands on the seat, but he'll have better control over the monitor if is closer to it. His hand makes a motion and pokes at the air again to bring up Magneto.]

Magneto: Born by the name Max Eisenhardt, Aliases: Erik Magnus Lehnsherr, Erik the Red, Grey King, White King, Michael Xavier, "the Creator," White Pilgrim, Prisoner #214782. Leader of the Brotherhood of Mutants once known as the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants due to the onset of the good versus evil mentality at the time prior to our generation's existence.

His ideals once coincided with Professor Xavier's and through their shared vision they were at one time friends. The helmet that is used to shield Magneto from telepathic invasion or upper thought reading is made from the same material that shields Cerebro; a device used to track down mutants with the hopes to bring them together for the cause of education and power refinement.

Magneto's vision eventually became warped once the war began that caused the rift between the Professor and himself to grow. Magneto chose the ideal that in order for mutants to survive, they should not hide in society but rather force their way in, according to some accounts. He uses the media as a tool to send his message that the strong shall survive and that mutants are the next step in evolution.

In consideration of this ideal, while true, the school was not built on the purpose of exploitation but rather for the achievement of peaceful co-existence through education and ability use to achieve a goal both personal and social. Magneto's approach to his ideals is much more aggressive, it is not the answer to achieve peace through force.

"For younger grades you have only 1 teacher, since it is easier for the students. You'll get used to having multiple teachers pretty quickly."

She then smirks. "Besides, now you can have a favorite and least favorite teacher if you want."

Okay!

*And there Chika goes, following after the other girl.

Once she finds out about that though, she's not going to be too happy, that's for sure.*

Normally, seeing a shrub on ones immediate left burst into flame would startle, even frighten most. For Natsu though, his eyes lit up at the strange blue flames and began looking about for the source. As there didn't seem to be anyone else nearby aside from a guy sneezing up a storm, Natsu closes the distance between them in no time at all.

"Were you the one who made that blue fire?"

It wasn't me! The butler did it!

[The bottle blond shoots up in surprise, whirling his head every which way to try to figure out what happened. It's not until his dazed eyes land on the history teacher that he pauses, comprehending he that he is probably in a history class, and then cranes his neck to view the arms at his back.

Situation officially understood, Masaomi turns back to Robin with an apologetic grin.]

Mornin', Teach! Think I can borrow your alarm clock for physics too?

[It's probably not morning.]

Chika nodded. "That's good; school's confusing enough when you end up not understanding something as it is."

She can't help but giggle at that. "Yeah, that's true! Though... how many different classes are we supposed to take?"
