Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. [Yvette shifts a bit more in her chair, looking again to Rosa, then to the paper. She taps the tip of her claw at the first question, recognizing that there are letters and words there, but still unable to comprehend them.

After staring for a moment, she sinks a bit in her chair, not sure how to respond even if she could.]

[As he flies to the branch, Yvette can't help but stare in awe, her mouth slightly agape at the sight. It was certainly prettier than any of the usual birds that flew over the grounds. Even after he's landed, she watches, entranced by him.]

A long finger wedged itself in-between the pages, holding the boy's place as he gently pulled the book away. "So, now, we must act accordingly. Tell me, how would you approach getting your book back from me? I am the aggressor here, and I have taken your property."

Yes, the rapier is a noble weapon. Mine was patterned after a classic French rapier. [He shows Kurt his custom sword.]

At the voice, Kurt spun around, but found himself grinning at the end of the impromptu soliloquy. He gave Alexander a bow and responded in his native tongue, in kind.

"You are too kind, truly. My skill was only a part of my victory. In truth, it was their own pride, their hubris that was their enemy. Humility would have saved them the bitter tang of defeat, but alas, they would rather die than show restraint."

He then gave Alexander an inquisitive look. "How well do you handle a blade, mein freunde?"

Kurt was clearly challenging him to see how he'd act if such a situation arose, but all he could think about was when he was constantly picked on while in foster care. His 'siblings' would do the same to him, and back then, he had no real way to fight back. Now he did. His eyes began to glow yellow, as did his mouth. Soon, his wings were lined with the same energy.

"I suggest you give it back."
