This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the game opens, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.

Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun! Feel free to consult the institute tour and dorm guide for setting info.

Another snarl. "And what the fuck would you know, huh? I said leave me alone!" Her next hammerblow came down at an unfortunate moment, smashing the girl's thumb and causing her to cry out.

"Geez." Moving over towards her, Takumi held out a hand. "Let me look at that. I know a bit bout medicine."

Reluctantly, she allowed it. But there was still a clear amount of tension in her, especially in the way she extended her hand. The thumb, of course, was probably going to bruise pretty badly.

"Yeah that's going to bruise. Here." He reached into his backpack and pulled out a chemical compress, breaking the small package. "Hold this to it, and use this as well to keep the swelling down." And he also offered a small package of ointment too.

Inside his pack, she might be able to glimpse something odd -- a cellphone and a belt of a very distinct model nestled deep inside it.

If Parsee noticed them, she certainly didn't say anything about them. It was a sort of embarrassing thing to address, anyways. Though, the further the topic got from her curse making...

"Strange gear for a photographer."

"Eh... it's just a couple of trinkets from my hometown," replied Takumi evasively, trying to keep the subject of the Faiz Gear out of the topic. But he had a feeling she wouldn't let that sit if he knew other people here.

"I won't ask more questions if you forget what you saw here today," Parsee spoke evenly, having seen right through those evasive statements.

"Some people just don't want to share their problems with everyone."

"That's fine with me. Just try not to get too upset later on or something." Awkward Takumi is awkward as he hands the things over to Parsee, offering them.

"I'm upset all the time," Parsee mumbled, not even thinking.

"About what?" inquired Takumi on reflex, and he pursed his lips. "Sorry."
