This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the game opens, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.

Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun! Feel free to consult the institute tour and dorm guide for setting info.

Oh, there was someone at this window. Not one to shy away, he pulled himself up to get a firmer grip and shift more of his weight onto the ledge itself, much like a cat clinging resolutely to a table's edge. Ezio flashed her a smile.

"Good afternoon!" This was totally the most normal thing ever, clearly. "It's a beautiful day, isn't it?"

Well, the only reason this was new to X-23 was the roles, usually she was the one clinging outside to a building. But she had claws and very little concern for if she fell. It only hurt a little while.

"Yes, the sun feels very nice," she agreed, it was why she was in the window. She decided he seemed nice enough (and he'd be easy to handle if he tried anything) that she opened the window completely. "Are you a new member of the staff, or a very amicable threat?"

That might have been a gleam of approval in his eyes. He laughed off her question. "Do I really seem at all threatening? I'm just the former. Call me Ezio."

She raised an eyebrow, "You're hanging outside a window by your fingers." It wasn't a normal activity, as it required a great deal more skill and ability than most people, even mutants, could muster. She regarded him a few more seconds, as if his answer wasn't enough to confirm he was staff.

"X-23."

"So I am. Well," He bounces a little on his feet, his toes flexed against the wall, "And braced a little. Part and parcel of my curriculum, actually."

"Quite the unique name. It is a pleasure to meet you."

"Parkour or technical climbing? Both would be good for students to learn if they wish to join the X-Men." Not that she needed to take a class on either, he seemed more skilled at this than she was, but she had a natural advantage with built in claws.

"Nice to meet you too," That's what most people say, he was more interesting than most so she almost meant it. "And my name is more unique than I am."
