This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the game opens, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.

Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun! Feel free to consult the institute tour and dorm guide for setting info.

Well... you see there was this food processor thing we were using for class and, uh, my partner was all thinking they could juice it up to make our work easier. I thought "hey, great idea!"

[ A laugh. ] The idea blew up in my face. [ Literally. ]

[She finishes scrubbing Yuugi's horn clean after rubbing off one last stubborn bit of flour.]

Yeah, it looks that way. [She sounds amused by the explanation, though, because honestly she couldn't say she wouldn't have done the same thing. Standing from the bench, she hands Yuugi the cloth back.] I think I got it all.

Teacher got pretty mad at us, but I just laughed. [ As she usually does.
