This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the applications open, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.

Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun! Feel free to consult the institute tour and dorm guide for setting info. [Wandering about the halls of the school and skipping class, Nue's checking out her new home. A Mark in place upon herself, she kept herself disguised as whatever people expected to see when they saw her.

Occasionally she'd do her best to peek into a classroom without getting caught or any other open rooms she came across out of curiosity.]

[While Nue could use the video function, audio was very much preferred. It added to the air of mystery around her, as well as helped conceal her true form.]

I've seen a lot of people sitting around doing nothing. Is there anything fun to do around here?

Honestly, I thought this place would be more exciting.

Marisa looks up from the book she was reading at the feeling of being watched.]

Can I help ya ze?

[Nope, supposed to be here. What's that about class?]

[Classes are for people who follow rules. Nue watches Marisa for a moment. Being around others with...abnormal abilities was still new to her. It was exciting, but she was wary at the same time. They might not be as easy to frighten as humans.]

Probably not. I'm just looking around.

[Nue gives her a smile that probably looks pretty creepy, no matter how she appears to the other girl.]

[Creepy smile or not, does not phase her much. Which will just get her to smile like she usually would]

New around here I'm guessin'? The place is so big, ya might be lookin' around for a week or so.

I haven't been here very long at all.

Just gotta avoid the Principal , He can be a bit of a ass sometimes ta everyone.

[She's not sure if who she is seeing is a teacher or student. But she isn't going to make a guess for now. But mentioning the book, she glances back to the book and picks it up. It's a thick book on Explosions...Basically a since book.]

Oh this? I picked it up before I came back here. At some point I wanna see how big of a explosion I can make. Although the gettin' away before the staff find out might be difficult.
