This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the applications open, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.

Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun! Feel free to consult the institute tour and dorm guide for setting info. We also encourage you to check out the "!!event" tag on the IC comms to brush up on the story so far.

She cocked her head an inch or two, wondering exactly that, or indeed what the point of a helmet with cat ears was, besides to be cute. Misdirection? She wouldn't wear it on her own scooter, that was sure.

Reki shook her head. "I lived with the Morlocks for a year. Not many mutations weird me out."

She looked at the cigarette she was holding, ash dropping to the ground. She ground it under her boot's toe to make sure it didn't ignite the leaf mould.

"This isn't, ah, dangerous to you, is it?" She said, holding it up.

Misdirection is possible, but no, she just took a liking to it when she first saw it. It's cute in the daylight, but makes for an eerie visual distraction in the dead of night.

Celty, too, tilts her head. Morlocks? She seems to inquire silently, but the other question draws her attention. The woman shakes her head. No danger at all.

Tap tap tap. Who are they?
