This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the applications open, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.

Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun! Feel free to consult the institute tour and dorm guide for setting info. We also encourage you to check out the "!!event" tag on the IC comms to brush up on the story so far.

"Mm, that's what my brother says too. From a fancy music school to this place... well, they do their best, but they just don't have the means to give any one student that much special treatment. And I imagine the difference between a normal high school dance teacher and someone who is more specialized is... quite big."

He shrugged gracefully. In a way it was the same way for him. Before he'd been sent here, they'd been considering sending him to a special needs school, and he would probably have had more help and teachers better equipped to deal with him there... but no one who could tell him what to do when he started borrowing people's faces. So you sacrificed something to gain something else. Looked like this girl had ended up with the muddy end of the stick though. "I guess you can't wait to be out of here, huh?"

[Wandering about the halls of the school and skipping class, Nue's checking out her new home. A Mark in place upon herself, she kept herself disguised as whatever people expected to see when they saw her.

Occasionally she'd do her best to peek into a classroom without getting caught or any other open rooms she came across out of curiosity.]

[ The slender woman in the leather bodysuit is the very model of symmetry, from her toes all the way up to her neck. It's the logo on her yellow cat-eared helmet that throws all that off.

She has been watching the boy in silence as he straightened up items, moved them, or ... attempted to. That bookcase looks to weight about twice what he does, and it must be a good several inches too close to the door of the library when you compare it to the one on the opposite side. That must be what he's after.
