This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the applications open, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.

Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun! Feel free to consult the institute tour and dorm guide for setting info. We also encourage you to check out the "!!event" tag on the IC comms to brush up on the story so far.

[Mary shouldn't have tried to figure out the maze by herself. It's a maze! She can't even do them on paper most days, but no. It seemed like it would be fun. That was 30 minutes ago and if this bush doesn't show her the exit now she will cut it down! Anyone nearby can probably hear Mary's frustrated groaning and not so creative insults and threats she's yelling at the carved bush.]

Yeah, no, quiet school life isn't a thing here. We're lucky if we go one month without something happening. [Mostly because that "something" is usually bad.] It's nothing if not interesting.

Can't really give you an answer on the tree thing, though.

We went a month without an attack once. On the more normal side, we do have dances and stuff happening every now and then. There's one coming up in a couple days, actually.

This place gets attacked that much? Really? I mean...! Everyone has powers right? Couldn't the staff and maybe the students have scared off any people like that for good by now?

... Well, we don't get an attack every month, but it feels like it sometimes. November and December had the Brotherhood come knocking and just now, we're recovering from some of the kids getting abducted by a bunch of other people...

Besides, it's not like everyone has powers useable for combat...

I know that not everything is combat! But... It just doesn't sound that safe. Not that I care really but it wouldn't be good if someone important got hurt.

Well, hopefully they'll be stepping up security. And putting more time into training those teams... Though, I guess it being peaceful all the time would just be boring.

After all, we did kick the Brotherhood's butts. [Or at least the people who went to fight did. Kirino was not one of them c:]

Boring isn't fun at all. Good point! Some schools have bullies and low test scores so I guess this place just gets to be attacked.
