[There's a woman clad in her favorite winter furs. Don't worry, it's all faux-fur for all those that are animal-rights conscious. She's already nice and settled in, and she looks very comfortable in her leather chair. She gives the camera a slight wave, before she speaks in a calm, airy voice.]

Hello, students.

My name is Maya Orihara, and I am going to be teaching Biology. I shall also be teaching AP level Biology, and college level Botany courses if anyone is willing to earn their credits while they're here.

[A pause]

A little before Spring rolls around, I am wondering if anyone would be interested in creating a sort of gardening or nature appreciation club? I personally love plant life, and I wonder if there are any like-minded students here. Not only is it fun, but if there is a gardening club, I am quite willing to lend my expertise to help you tend and care for whatever it is that you wish to grow.

All plant-life is precious, especially knowing what their function is in this world.

[She's out in the hallway, looking outside one of the windows and shaking her head a little. She looks a little sad as she sees the trees outside full of snow, and only the pines and other coniferous trees have any green on them.]

If only Spring were to come around sooner...

[An idle thought. While she was fine with winter, she always loved it when it would all thaw out and the first green shoots start peeking from beneath the snow. She sighs as she looks on.]

Might as well enjoy wearing my furs for as much as I can in the meantime.

[Dare you interrupt her while she's thinking out loud?]

[Gajeel just wished for spring to come back around sooner because he wasn't a great big fan of the cold. Gajeel might not have said anything to her, but he was standing by the window just next to her looking out at the snow too.]

[She looked to the side and saw the young man there beside her. She didn't say anything for the first couple of seconds because she knew that if he wasn't saying a word, he was most likely thinking deeply on something, just as she had.

But she still wanted to have a sort of conversation with him, yet she chose to still keep looking outside:]

What do you think about the snow, young man?

[metalized]

[He looked over to him, then looked on the other wise of him to see if she was talking to someone else. Since they were the only two there, she could only be taking to him. He shifted his gaze back to the window.]

It's cold. [But that was obvious.] I'm a summer person.

[A small smirk played on her lips.]

I can understand wanting the weather to be warm. I personally never liked summers since they're so humid both here and back where I grew up.

[She tilts her head to the side, now looking at him.]

That said, I'm more of a Spring person myself. It's only a couple of months off, so all I have to do is wait patiently for it to come.

It still doesn't change the fact that I dislike the winter weather.
