Well, while he did look like more proper prey, Donatello couldn't help but ignore Tenshi's quip for the moment wonder if there was something more to it. Some dinosaur species were believed to have a keen sense of smell, and what if they were not so much smelling him, but what his blood carried.

Still, he managed to leap up onto one of them, quickly hanging onto the top of its head. Instantly the group of dinosaurs that had been attracted to Donatello now had to get him off of their fellows' head. And if it meant attacking said fellow velociraptor and forcing a snarling group brawl?

Well, that was exactly what Donatello was going for. Though the rock suddenly smacking him in the beak earned Tenshi a glare.
