Rin blinked, rubbing his nose as he looked up. "Blue...fire? What where?" He quickly looked around and spotted the bush. "Shiiiit!" It took a moment of concentration but the blue fire died down leaving a slightly singed bush in it's wake.

After that was taken care of he looked back at the other boy. "Yeah, it was me." He smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his head.

Well, that is exactly what the data files say about him. But, that still doesn't tell us what shaped him to become like that. What event caused this poor view of humans on him?

I was unaware we were doing a psychological profile in a history class. I am not a psychologist. If you are asking about an event that may have sparked his path, it was the Holocaust.

History Class

I was asking about the event. I do admit that to fully understand him we would need to got into a psychological profile, but knowing the event is just as important.

Yes, his view of humans came from the Holocaust, a terrible event in our world. An event that is not uncommon in our history sadly. From as far back as the Egyptians and Mesopotamia, people have always enslaved and killed others just because they are different. It is one of the most reoccurring themes in our worlds history.

Mr. Eisenhardt fell into the same trap that caused his own pain and suffering. Knowing history can help prevent us from falling into these same traps. History repeats itself if we fail to learn from it.

Elian, given what we have seen in the past, can you give us some guesses on how the future of human/mutant relations will be? Just going by how history has shown with situations of attempted Genocide.

I'm sorry that you have to suffer like this. It's a very understandable distance and a substantial burden. I'm not speaking trivially on this.

You're story isn't much different than a lot of students that arrive in this school. Many have lost loved ones to their power. Some have lost entire families and each one has overcome their inner challenges to save lives.

While I enjoy the occsional sports activity, I love history too much to give it away. Besides, I think my powers would give me, an unfair advantage.

Providing that there is little to no education about mutations taught in public schools, our current course would be a war when taking into consideration the rise of factions and hate groups that have surfaced in recent years.

Much like what happened in Auschwitz and Egypt, there will be a round-up of mutants, or in the likelihood that Mr. Eisenhardt succeeds humans in retrospect, there will not be peace until an outcome is met.

[Even if the topic is a grim one, it's important and a very hard lesson.]

A grim outlook indeed, but as you mentioned, a one we may be able to prevent. That is the purpose of this school. Hopefully we will be successful, but only time will tell.

If Mr. Eisenhardt does succeed, I am not sure that will stop future Auschwitz's from happening, just with mutants doing it to other mutants.
