This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the game opens, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.

Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun! Feel free to consult the institute tour and dorm guide for setting info.

Well, the only reason this was new to X-23 was the roles, usually she was the one clinging outside to a building. But she had claws and very little concern for if she fell. It only hurt a little while.

"Yes, the sun feels very nice," she agreed, it was why she was in the window. She decided he seemed nice enough (and he'd be easy to handle if he tried anything) that she opened the window completely. "Are you a new member of the staff, or a very amicable threat?"

"Not in the condition for it? I wonder, could it be that you're afraid of them?"

"Come onnnnn. Now you're just being stubborn." Which, of course, meant that Yamame had no choice but to be stubborn right back. "It's not like I'm going to go around telling everyone what you say, you know. Maybe I should just go ask Yuugi if she knows anything?"

Oh, yeah? You don't even sound like you even know what it's like to love an animal as a pet. Have you ever had an entire town call you a witch and make you an outcast? I doubt it, since if you had you would know that animals are the most loyal friends you can find!

[ooc: It's probably a lot like getting sick normally... They'll start feeling a little bad right away, but then the feeling just keeps snowballing as time progresses. The illness probably worsens faster than normal, though.]

All this talk of registration and the likes has me worried. I mean, whose to say they won't use the list as a way to track us down and terminate us? Or worse yet kidnap us and preform experiments on us?

Maybe I'm just being paranoid but it seems to me there's a lot of bad things that could come out having law abiding mutants register just because they're afraid of what we could do.

Venom just blinked. In order for her to leave him alone, he had to talk to her. But he didn't want to talk to her. He just wanted to read.

"I really would prefer to finish this book."

"You fuckin think so?!" Parsee snapped, her voice breaking under strain. Really, a lot of this could be resolved if she just told Yuugi what was wrong... but some stubborn part of herself that refused to show anything that might remotely justify Yuugi's words at the party, or the idea that she was worthy of those words at all.
