[The video cuts onto a overly happy and smiling blonde. Who does not seem to care that her hair is a mess or the fact that the supervisor for the computer room is giving her such a glare right now.]

Guess who's back at school? Don't need ta clap or nothin', I missed bein' here so I had ta come back eventually! 'Sides, to many people ta bug and I want ta figure out more about my powers.

[Marisa had only been here long enough to drop her bag off in her new room before she was again outside and messing with things.

So she's out by the lake, her eyes closed with something glowing softly in between her outstretched hands. Anyone who knew her well had a idea of what she was doing. Anyone else would probably go bug the blonde which she really hoped would not happen. She wanted to make this work!]

There Are A Few Questions In Which I Wish To Ask First I Wish To Inquire About What Club Activities There Currently Are If Any I Am Particularly Interest In A Club Dedicated To Botany I Have Quite A Love For Plants Although My Powers Are Not Based Upon Such Gifts Second If There Is Not Such A Club Preexisting Would There Be Any Interest Upon The Part Of Others To Form And Join Such A Club In The Event There Is Not Anyone Interested I Come To My Third Point Would Anyone Be Interested In A Fashion Club In The Stead Of One Focused Around Botany Perhaps Not Set Up To Discuss Fashion But Maybe To Design Our Own Things Or Perhaps Even Create A Zine I Am Simply Looking For Things To Fill My Time When Im Not Busy With Homework In The Event No One Is Interested In Either Idea I Suppose I Will Simply Have To Find Something Else To Do In Order To Occupy My Time Something That Doesnt Include Books For A Change

[So that weird pale girl that literally glows in the dark can be found sitting out in the sun by the lake. The temperature is cold enough to warrant a light coat and yet there she is in a short-sleeved shirt and long skirt. She has a blanket with her but it's clearly being used to sit on, not for warmth. Despite the cool temperature she seems perfectly at home with that thick tome in her lap.

She seems oblivious to all that goes on around her; as if completely focused upon her book. She is, in fact, completely enthralled with vampire novel she's currently devouring. And yet, the truth of the matter is quite the opposite. She's perfectly aware of everything around her. Perhaps not the sounds being made but the location of every object and body is known to her. At this very moment, if asked, she could tell you exactly where someone was.

Jumping back to calling this girl weird. Certainly everyone in the school is some kind of weird but perhaps Kanaya takes the title. It's been said she's sampled blood from other students. That she thinks herself some kind of vampire like in the books she's thoroughly obsessed with. No on can say for sure if the rumors are true but many swear they are.]

Do you know Pamela Isley? She mentioned something about putting together a botany club a while back! I'm sure she'd be pleased to hear someone else would be interested.

[This moment of undoubtedly careful concentration is interrupted by Flandre stooping over and sticking her face over Marisa's shoulder.]

What is that there?

[...Flandre seriously.]

[Welp, there goes the concentration on that laser...Wait...CRAP! Marisa's eyes snap open and she throws the glowing ball quickly towards the center of the lake. It gets about halfway out there before exploding. The fact the teen looks startled enough over the explosion tells that she did not mean for that to happen.

Marisa takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself and shoves her hands into her pockets.]

Was practicin'....Tryin' not ta do what that just did.

[She has never stood up straight so goddamn fast before because holy shit.

Flandre probably squawked a little, too. A lot. Somewhere between.]

What was...what was that?!

[Network]

[The video starts and there's a few muffled voices as the camera's moved about, the two voices appearing to be having a disagreement before one side clearly wins and a boy in his early teens is holding the device.

He has skin the color of slate and eyes which are black rather than white with yellowish-green irises. Looking off camera, he takes a breath then looks back.]

Um, hi...I'm Skaar.

[Action]

[Given free reign to explore, Skaar can be found wandering the halls with no clear sign of direction. He still wasn't exactly sold on the idea that this place was better for him than being with his own father, but Bruce had done nothing but sing the praises of Xavier's Institute and so he'd agreed to give it a try. He wonders what sort of people he might run into in a place like this.

Eventually, after growing tired of being inside, he'd make his way outside. Finding the openness of nature at least a bit more familiar than the corridors of the building itself, he takes a deep breath and sighs contentedly.]

'Supposed ta be a laser..but I lost concentration. So it exploded ze. At least I got it away before it exploded on us.

[Although she's a bit disappointed that it did that..She's still smirking as if she meant to do that.]

Oh well..At least chrome dome won't get on my case for another school buildin' ta explode. Don't need him on my case my first day back. By the way, I'm Marisa.

[She gives a bit of a two fingered salute from the brim her hat]

Im Afraid I Dont Know This Pamela Isley But Im Sure That Is A Problem That Can Soon Be Rectified Thank You Very Much For This Bit Of Information I Will See About Getting In Touch With Her As Soon As Possible

[Because there's the growing sound of wings flapping frantically in the sky, approaching the lake. A bat-winged woman seems to be chasing something in a soaring arc, and she's diving after it.]

[She manages to catch the object (likely a clay pigeon), but yells and fails to pull out of her dive in time before—SPLASH]

[The young woman's trudging out of the lake soon enough, a stack of white disks under her arm and a rather colorful choice of French phrases. Today also seems to be a vampire-themed day, given how the young woman shaking water from her wings is also extraordinarily pale and has bright red eyes. She hasn't noticed Kanaya yet, more preoccupied with her landing (or lack thereof).]

Thats Um An Interesting Idea For A Club Unfortunately I Am Biologically Female And Prefer To Dress As Such Therefore I Do Not Think Myself A Good Fit For Your Club Im Also Not Very Religious But I Do Quite Like The Name Hail Holy Queens It Has A Nice Ring To It Excellent Shall The Idea Pan Out I Will Be Sure To Let You Know

[Kanaya is aware of all. Her gift is hard to explain but it allows her to know exactly where in space anyone or anything is. It's not so much something she sense as she can see. However, she doesn't bother look up as the figure flies over. The splash and following sloshing of Remilia dragging herself out of the lake doesn't appear to draw the pale girl's attention.

With her eyes still glued to her book she speaks:] I have to say that was quite an outstanding landing.

weve got ppl coming to hang that arent into religion or dressing up, so you could probly come chill either way. and duh, of course the name is awesome, i like came up w/ it myself!!

...but if you dont wanna check out our club, im in for the fashion thign, too. my power can help, once lents over and i can use it on my clothes again :D

*Sasha looks a little... different, today. Maybe she did something new with her hair? No, that isn't it. Maybe it's the rather impressive pair of wings growing out of her back.

Could the losers with the wings, and the fur, and the claws, and the scales, and the whatever other oddities growing out of them watch where they're going in the halls. It was lucky I thought 'some idiot with wings will slam through me today, I'll wear something backless' this morning or I'd have ended up topless and feathery on my way to trig. Which sucks even when I don't have wings. Why do I even need trig, it doesn't make any sense!

She really wondered if the school needed so many ninjas. Okay, not that she'd admit it, but being able to scale flat walls and balance herself on the edge of the roof nobody can access except from the ground or the air is pretty cool. Still, she must have accidentally bumped into one of them this morning and now she has amazing Spider powers without the hairs on her fingertips. Or however the hell Spider-Man does his thing.

She missed Boo. She missed Ginny and Melanie fighting like an old married couple. And Roman, and kissing Roman, and getting caught kissing Roman by Michelle for the eight time and why can't she just leave well enough alone but it's okay there are usually leftovers. She missed her apartment, it was finally feeling like home and now here she was in New York learning Ballet from an overgrown moody cat and what the hell was her life now?

Still... the view wasn't too bad from up here. Her life still sucked but the view wasn't bad.
